I have the same problem as Lexi Rae with one of my yorkies. He pants heavily the entire time, doesn't want to sit still because he is stressed. I would really like to have some recommendations as to what to do for him. I've tried taking him on short trips 10-15 minutes and only to places where he will have fun (i.e., PetsMart, daycare - which he absolutely loves, etc.). I did this 3-5 days/week for several months. It didn't make a difference.
