Since the broken leg she has gone through some serious bouts of delusion and paranoia. The docs were having a difficult time finding out why. A month ago she was mentally fine and beating us at pinochle. Since then I have spent the nights with her at the hospital and she was screaming through the night that she is falling even though she was laying in bed. We have moved her into a very nice rehab center and the turn around has been amazing. She is completely aware of her surroundings and sleeping through the night. No more reaching for imaginary objects. My sister sent us a text tonight that mom beat her at pinochle (although my sister is not very good!). We are so glad to see the mom we know and love back with us. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts!
