These little boogers just love to fool us. I never tell a person how much a Yorkie might weigh as adult except for the "they should stay withing the standard of 7 lbs!".. The bigger they are, the more there is to love but I understand when someone has specific needs. For instance, one of my retired girls went to live with a handicapped woman who could not lift more than 5-7 lbs so a smaller dog was necessary. They had rescued a Bichon mix that grew to 17 pounds and she could not pick him up to sit in her lap.. |
