It happened to my furbaby blood in stool during the night so I waited til morning to get into the vet; luckily I did in time., because she started throwing up blood... Ran tests and everything came out okay. Dr think she ate something bad but was never determined what it was. I've since changed her food and use special i/d diet dog good prescribed by vet along with probiotics... never happened again. Good luck!
