My understanding is that green is a typical color to see in canine birthing. I know that it is hugely unacceptable in a human birth but my understanding is that green is a normal color of birthing fluids in dogs. My only concern would be if she had had the sack break before the puppy was out. I am not a breeder so I do not know. But if green is a typical color, green discharge doesn't seem to off kilter, especially with other typical symptoms of labor. Perhaps a more educated breeder will chime in with their experience.
