That's what I've been doing. I've been locking up Duchess every now and them and letting her explore on her own. She is comfortable with me but not with Duchess yet. I will say that although Duchess wants to play with her she is also giving her space as well. It's almost like she well check on while she is in the carrier but will not force her to play. But I can also tell that if the kitten wan'ts to play, Duchess is all for it.
I have to think of a name for her. I want to wait and see what her personality will be like. I think she'll be fine, just need to give her time to adjust.
