When I got Emma, I was told she would be 5-6 pounds at the very most. She is closer to 8 or 9 depending on the day. I love every last extra pound of her and she is not very big at all. She comes to about the middle of my shins. In comparison to your 10 pound estimate, your baby will not be all that much bigger. I can take some pics of her tonight and try to compare her with some stuff just so you can see how big she is. I think if you put aside his size, you'll just fall in love with him and his personality and it won't matter one bit.
