 Duchess is getting a kitten
We are picking up a kitten on Saturday from a woman who rescues feral cats. She has a 10-12 week old kitten has the same coloring as Duchess. Duchess loves kittens and the last kitten I fostered they bonded really quickly. They played and sleep together but I was only fostering the kitten until I could find it a good home.
Biggest mistake of my life because Duchess is an hyper energetic and that little kitten help keep Duchess active. Right now she just seems so bored all the time and never seems to get excited about anything except going outside. She craves excitement. Plus I missed having a cat around. My cat of 15 years passed away last year so I think it is time for another.
I hope they bond because I feel like Duchess youthful exuberance is slowly going away. I don't want her to loose that. Fortunately for me, if the two don't bond, the lady said that she would take the kitten back if they don't get along. Wish us luck....I'm so excited..... |
