Welcome to YT, and thank you for rescuing this sweet little baby. My now passed girl was a mighty hunter. When I moved into my new home my girl would bite at the cabinet doors under the sink trying to get it opened, what I did was remove EVERYTHING inside that cabinet, I let her smell EVERYTHING I removed as long as it was nothing dangerous to her, then let her go in it and sniff it out, her curiosity was satisfied, she stopped biting at the doors, but every single morning she went to that cabinet and sniffed at it lol. Yorkies are very curious lil critters lol.
