I have a pup on subcutaneous fluids. She is a drama queen and I just don't have the heart for it; so I take her to the vet to have it done twice/week. I have done it with others in the past who were not quite as dramatic. She is in renal failure.

He probably had a high hematocrit which shows dehydration...but was he ill at the time??

Enlarged liver could be many different things.....you vet didn't think further tests were needed?
