Hubby and I usually celebrate Thanksgiving with dinner at the nursing home where his brother is living, a quadraplegic for 11 years now. This year I just wanted to stay home alone with my two new pups and keep them company. It was just a day of rest and reflection for me, not really a sad day, just quiet and peaceful. I am truly thankful for everything I have, especially my puppies who have come to my rescue at just the right time. And I'm thankful to have Yorkietalk and the beautiful family of yorkie lovers here. Blessings to all! Jean
So sorry!

Nothing wrong with a nice peaceful day at home with no fuss. I've come to really appreciate those type of days. I don't get them very often and if I can get by with just my memories and without crying that's even better.
