This is a hard time of year for me too. I lost my mom on Nov 27th, 1988 but it is still hard. Her birthday was Nov 23 and the last day I saw her was on Thanksgiving. So this is always a rough week for me to get through. This is my first holiday season without Daisy and Teddy Bear and my twin brother Jerry. Hubby and I usually celebrate Thanksgiving with dinner at the nursing home where his brother is living, a quadraplegic for 11 years now. This year I just wanted to stay home alone with my two new pups and keep them company. It was just a day of rest and reflection for me, not really a sad day, just quiet and peaceful. I am truly thankful for everything I have, especially my puppies who have come to my rescue at just the right time. And I'm thankful to have Yorkietalk and the beautiful family of yorkie lovers here.
