Default Morkie Ears

I know she's not a full Yorkie, but to me she looks and acts just like a Yorkie except she is white and tan/brown.

My question is about her ears. I don't mind if they don't ever stand up, but I'm wondering if they're trying to. She is 13 weeks old and her ears keep flopping backward. I'm thinking they're trying to stand up but the hair is weighing them down so they flop backward.

I've been thinking about shaving the tips of her ears to help them stand up but I'm concerned that they will just flop down and look weird. But If they're trying to stand up, I don't want to accidentally train them to flop backward all the time by letting them do what they're doing.

Is this what they do when they're trying to stand up?
