Oh dear this story does not have a happy ending. I still had heard no further word from the lady last night, so this morning I sent another e mail asking her rto phone me ( and included my phone number once again). She knows all my phone calls are diverted to my mobile phone so it doesn't matter where I am , I never miss a call. Apart from taking Jack out for his usual three walks I have stayed around the house all day, but sadly no communication from her. I'm glad I just didn't turn up at her house with Jack. It's obvious she has changed her mind about the whole idea, or maybe she sold her dog to someone else. Iexpect I shall never know, but I feel it would have been polite to contact me as she is the one who asked me to visit her today. Never mind, it obviously wasn't meant to be, and being philosophical it has turned out for the best. Now I shall still look for another Yorkie, and if it happens it happens. I can't buy a puppy because we are probably too old, so am still searching for a slightly older dog.
