I'm so sorry for your loss. It seems so hard right now but there will come a time when you can sit and remember her without tears, it will be a slow process but you have. 15 years of beautiful memories to get you through the dark days . She must have been so loved and she would know this and you have to find comfort in that . We have lost 2 yorkies over the years , Max who was 13 and Pebbles who was my parents dog at 15 years old we loved them both dearly . I have 2 babies now that are 12 and 11 and I love them to bits , I dread the day anything happens to them as I will be devastated but I will know in my heart they will always be there. I hope you and your parents find comfort in the fact that Katie is not suffering and that she had a long and beautiful life and that you should be proud of that .
