I would not put a puppy through surgery that isn't well. I would most certainly wait. BUT if he still has the runs, he needs to see a Vet for this.Imodium AD is not always a fix for the problem.
AND DO NOT LET let the Vet talk you into surgery. Any Vet that is good knows this a NO, NO.
