Yes. This was Chewie's first major hurdle (ongoing digestive issues.) First cut the hair. Secondly, watch. your. groomer. like. a. hawk. If you don't trim her yourself; I'm currently learning how. One time an "experienced" groomer (supervisor!) got angry chews pooped in the sink and she took her from my husband's viewpoint, and she came home screaming. Literally. For three days. X-ray showed her so backed up that the vet wasn't very laid back about that. She was horrified. in Chewie's case, the adrenal gland expression was what did it.
