I do not recommend 2 puppies or dogs at the same time unless the woners are home all the time. Or at least one stay-at-home parent.. I say, get your feet wet with one and then add the second one. I personally do not sell 2 puppies from the same litter to a person...when one starts getting sick or dies, the other follows fairly quickly. The woman who writes the pet column for our paper said the same thing when her 2 brother Shelties got sick and died in 2 months of each other.
The opposite side is that you will have them together for several years and enjoy them before you have to face any of the problems I mentioned. My biggest peice of advice is to make sure that soemone is home all day with the new members...To me, that is very important..
