Nemex II (pyrantel) is appropriate for use on puppies. They should be dewormed at 2,4,6 and 8 weeks. Even if the dam showed no signs of harboring parasites certain hormones released in pregnancy can wake up latent parasites and cause the mother and babies to both become infested. They all need all the nutrition they can get so it is important to make sure they are all parasite free.
