I am so, so sorry for your loss. I just lost my 14 year old Bichon/Shih Tzu last Tuesday. It's devastating. I do want to tell you though, getting a new puppy is absolutely the best thing you can do! I got Minnie about a month before Max passed and she has helped me so much. She's also helped my other dog deal with the loss. It does take time, but it's really comforting with another lil pup to care for and love.
