My girl Cali is very small and delicate (4lbs) but she has what is called a cotton coat. It is just like your boy's. Yorkies have two types of coats, silky & cotton...looks like your little guy is a cotton coat too! He totally looks 100% yorkie to me. Cali's dad has long silky hair but her mom has the curly cotton coat like she does.
