I was just thinking that and it was for plastic bits in the food- is she passing stool normally? It was the filet mingon variety.
Also, if she has been doing well on the same food for theee years and this behavior just began a couple of weeks ago I would want to investigate a little further especially on that recall and see if your food was affected.
