It's no different, really, than it is for humans -- if/when we're bloated, we try to find out why and then avoid that food. Same with dogs. You should switch foods and get one w/ a different protein/carb source. Royal Canin has a ton of corn in it, btw, which is horrible for many dogs' digestive systems - get something without the corn...like Natures Logic Venison or something...
