Both my dog and my mom's are neutered. I didn't want you to think they weren't neutered. They got along too.
Hopefully you will have a good experience.
I have introduced females to females well and a male to a female in the past and never had an issue. The only issue I have experienced was that pee issue. So, the chances of it not working are probably low.
