I think Piper purposely doesn't use pad, cuz she gets her little feisty little attitude "I don't want to and I don't have to and I won't!" After all, I'm the one who gets to go to work all night!! Routine when going out and when fed and consistency and big, big praise will all work in your favor, but it may take time!

LOL my Spice has the same attitude. I did everything right or as was suggested when I first got her. She was 5 mo old. I tried it all. It has just been in the past 6 mo (she was 2 in Aug) that she acts like she may have been paying attention LOL
She will go outside and inside. Inside she will make 3 or 4 tiny spots as if she just wants to show me she can! Such a little stinker! She wont use her pee pad anymore or very rarely and it is only poo when she does.
I take her out every 2 hours !! But she can hold it all night! i know this because I am a very light sleeper and she dont move after we get in bed.
