She rarely bites daughter now. Resource guarding continues to pose an issue, but she'll do warning growls. Today, I was rubbing my daughters scalp, and man Chewie was so angry! She told daughter off!!! High pitched barking, shrieking, and frantic foot and toe licking (mine)
I love her loyalty so much, though! She's a sweetheart! Any dog that comes near me, including her little pack she runs around with one day each week, she'll attempt to push off me or a few times went after strange dogs that greet me. I think she needs to learn to share. One of these days we'll be getting a second one, and I really hope when that day comes we can find one that can mesh into our home well. |
