It gets cold here on the mountain. I have a new city boy in my life, use to shoveled sidewalks lol, this will be his 3rd country winter with me. When it snows I shovel the deck, no shoveling of yard lol, so he pottys on the deck, he is 12# I just put a T-shirt on him as I keep him in a puppy cut, he goes out, does his thing and back in the house he comes. When we are going in the car I always warm up the car before I put him in it, and he does have his thermo coat (that he HATES). Start putting booties on him now in the house so he gets use to them, we have members living in Alaska their pups all wear boots in the snow, it's amazing when they post videos of their babies running in the snow wearing their booties, it's is as natural to them as not wearing them, you just have to get him used to something on their feet. I have a set for my boy, the first time I put them on him he stood like a frozen statue and never moved lol.
