Welcome to YT, I LOVE your answer as to how much you paid lol, cute. It is very common for ppl to ask what you paid. Prices for yorkies vary greatly. WHEN I had puppies and was asked that very same question, I would tell them, it was no big deal to me. I now have an adopted boy and VERY PROUD to say I "rescued" my boy and saved a life. I LOVE puppies, I am older now then when I had my 4 females as puppies, an older baby best suits my life style now, he was a puppy 2 1/2 yo, there are soooo many yorkies in shelters that need good loving homes if you are looking for an older baby. NEVER let anyone make you feel guilty for choosing a PUPPY, they are so much fun and wonderful to watch them grow into their own unique little personalities. Enjoy that little baby.
