 How do you handle these questions?
I've known for years I wanted a male Yorkie, and did my research looking for a reputable breeder. I work at a school so I knew I would want to get the puppy at the beginning of summer so I'd be home with him. Even then after finding a breeder I had to wait two summers because each summer circumstances were that I wasn't going to have the time a new puppy required. Finally this summer I brought home Walter. Needless to say I'm over the moon! What's surprised me is people asking if I rescued or bought him and the negative attitude I get when I say I bought him. Also I'm surprised that people ask how much I paid. When asked how much I say "Not nearly enough for the amount of happiness he's brought me" I was curious as to others being asked these questions and how you handle them? |
