barking and growling at a toy or at another family dog during play is something I tolerate- cute and playful and normal - growling at me when I take something away - no way! It is easy to discount that behavior as cute but the next thing would be snapping so better be on guard-it is plain disrespectful ... I usually give our puppies a reprimand in a deep voice and if needed turn them onto their back.
I don't allow playing with clothing- socks are sort of cute with puppies but anything with a human smell should be off limits for chewing and hiding - they just can't tell the difference between a lowly sock and an expensive clothing item ... :-)
But those yorkie puppies are so darn cute ... I have a hard time convincing my family not to let Bella get away with murder ...One puppy look and everyone melts haha ... It is quite funny though ... even though I am probably the strictest family member she is following me everywhere and prefers my lab over everyone else ...
