Hi everybody. My wife and I brought our 13 year old Yorkie named Sophie to our vet 2 weeks ago. Diagnosed with pancreatitis. After several days of still not eating weight dropped to 5.2 lbs. Took to hospital. Admitted for 2 days with IV fluids, meds. Released yesterday as she ate both days a little dog food on her own. Problem is she is back home and refuses all food again. Sent home with Buprenex, pepcid, cerenia and orbax. Still it seems like she cannot smell any food or appetite gone. She is also periodically shaking. We thought since she had no teeth she was sucking in air but was told it is related. And sleeping alot. We are feeding here baby food via syringe and some chicken vegetable mix my wife blended. We are I believe running out of time. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you. A couple in Massachusetts.
