I sort of have this same problem. I use a Corelle brand dish. It is really small. I think they call it a vegetable side dish. I also use a puzzle feeder. I think it is designed to give treats, but food works great in it. It also gives them a mental workout. This is Lexi's preferred way to eat. She seems to like working for her food. I can put food in a small dish and it will just sit there all day. If I transfer it to a puzzle, she gobbles it right up. I also put her kibble or dehydrated raw food in a plastic bottle. She loves to play with that bottle and when the food falls out she loves it. The crazy things we do!
