I have a 3.75 pound yorkie and a 4 pound Biewer. I bought several types of tiny bowls that they both refused to eat from. I finally put their food on a 5" flat plastic plate - success!!! For the past 3 years have used nothing but plastic disposable plates. I do use them for as long as possible before I toss them. It can get expensive, but they love them and gobble their food up. Call me a crazy dog person
