Thank you everyone for your great replies. I never gave thought to the potential difficulty of cleaning one of these. I had thought about the noise factor. I don't think I would have a problem with Riley drinking from it as he tries to drink the water as I am pouring it from the Brita pitcher. He also tries to drink from the hose when I water my flowers outside. He is "all boy" in every sense of the word. Lol Now, my little princess, Lexi, may not be so keen on a water fountain. After all, the water may spray a drop on her beautiful hair. LOL
