You might want to look at capstar for the fleas but you also need to rid your environment like house of the fleas or they will just keep getting them. There is a nexguard for 4pounds to 10 pounds because my puppy is on it. Heart guard and interceptor are great heartworm meds. You need to try different ones with your other dog to because it would be rare that they were allergic to all of them.
