I applied for care credit last night....will get this done asap. It might cost less bc vet was going to use a mild sedative when I expressed my worries (bc she's only 3.5 lbs) & that alone costs $50. Will forgo that & just trust the vet.
Will update on how it goes.

I'm sure you've already tried more novel proteins like venison, duck, bison, etc...?

Have you tried Know Better Raw Dog Food yet...?
Yes, switched her over fm RX food to Primal w/no problems! She's eating duck, lamb, & pork. Doing amazing otherwise & loving her food.

Will look into Know Better Raw Dog Food, sounds very interesting!

Hope you can find a solution either with diet or the flush.
It's actually Mimi's daughter. She came to live w/us a few months back.

I don't think her mom knew that her anal gland was impacted & it got infected. Not sure how long she went w/out expressing it. When I asked about it, she had no idea what I was talking about.

I don't need to express Mimi's as often anymore. If I need to, she'll let me know by licking there but she hasn't done that in awhile.
