I was super worried when our Pixie had her surgery. Surprisingly, she recovered better than what I expected. I gave her pain medication only 2 days. I got onesies instead of the cone so all the time she was able to rest comfortably in her bed. She never took it out although she figured out how to take her shoulders off. The first day she slept a lot and didn't ate much but she walked around a little bit without difficulty. The next day she was acting completely normal. The third day she was trying to jump to the couch! Our problem was trying to keep her calm and not jumping!
