[QUOTE=MacyGirl2004;4670367]Thanks for all your help! My Macy is much, much better. I took her to emergency vet last Sunday night because she seemed to feel worse. She stayed overnight and was perfectly fine, but they said that according to the x-ray, it seemed as she had an enlarged heart. When we went to pick her up, she seemed so much better that I was surprised it was an enlarged heart. She had that issue before and it was nothing similar to this. The family vet said to take her to her cardiologist, which we did, and it ended up being pneumonia. She is so much better now. She is back to her old self! Thank you so much for your help. It was so greatly appreciated.

I also hope that I am not being judged about giving her ham. The cardiologist said it had nothing to do with ham, which I am thankful for, but I will make sure not to give her any more. Macy Girl is my whole world and there is nothing I would do to make her sick.

So glad to hear she's feeling better. No one is judging you for feeding her the ham. So many people are unaware of the seriousness of feeding diff human foods to our pups & we here at YT only try to educate people on all sorts of dangers to our babies. Consider it a lesson learned on the ham & thank goodness that you dodged a bullet & she did not end up with Pancreatitis as Pancreatitis can kill your dog. Again, happy she's better now.
