She's been doing this more. Especially after I started going with my husband to her sunday "play" date with other dogs- a min pin mix, a yorkie s**tzu mix, and a poodle. The poodle has fallen in love with me, and will whine to get on my lap. The min pin is aggressive, and not the friend's mother's- it's one of her son's dogs. The yorkie was a rescue and absolutely attached to the woman, and she'll bark, kind of like chewie is doing as I speak, if she's on the computer. Chewie is picking up some BAD habits. I digress.
So, Chewie instead of playing when I'm there will spend her time checking in with me, and bumping the poodle's nose any time he's on my lap or at my feet.
She'll also lick my sneakers, sooo... I now get it. Makes sense- salt I can see, but my feet, dirty, clean, it makes no difference. INTERESTING! Hubby said that now that we have Chewie, dogs will approach us more, too. And she does spend time at the shoe rack. Thank you!!!!
