I've had two female yorkies, one was my velcro baby but she was a rescue that came from a back yard breeder and was kept in a cage most of the time.

My present female came from a loving home and is very independent. She is sort like a cat that will only cuddle when she is ready to cuddle. While she does follow me around the house, she isn't my shadow in that she will only come look for me if I am gone too long.
