Thank you Lillymae for your advice. She does need to use the leg more to regain muscle. Her muscle in that side is already smaller from not using it for a week. It happened to my son when new got a knee injury in football. It doesn't take long to start losing muscle mass and getting muscle tightness. The rehab dept said she should do range of motion exercises, so that's what I'm trying to do. It's true also that The nerve will take a while to heal. |
