The extended release pills were 100 mg. We cut them into 4 so Little Dog was getting 25 mg twice a day. The compounded capsules we now have are 25 mg each and are immediate release. The vet said to cut the dose to 12.5 mg but Little Dog did not tolerate that dose either.
I had not thought of calling around to different pharmacies and thank you for the suggestion. I just went by the vet's word and my regular pharmacy.
