So, our house isn't two stories but is two levels. We have a Florida room and our bedroom on the lower level. Penny loves the Florida room because it has tons of windows and she can watch the world from the back of the couches. Her toys are in two boxes (I know) down there.
Our TV viewing is done in the upper level. We don't start watching until late evening. Penny is played with most of the day but when we get ready to watch tv she starts barking at us. In order to settle her down, we tell her she has to go to time out and then put her down in the Fl. room and shut the baby gate. After a half hour or so, we let her back with us and she will get on the couch and go to sleep. Lately, when she has gotten ornery when we are trying to watch something, she has been putting herself in timeout. That is all I have to say to her. "If you can't settle down, you have to go to time out." and she does....lol. It is so darn cute. She will stay looking out the windows for awhile and then come up to sleep on the couch. Yorkies are so smart and have so much personality.
