 Compound theophylline
Hi. This is my first post; I'm not sure if I am posting in the correct place.
My senior yorkie has been on extended release Theophylline for the past year. She tolerated it well. Unfortunately it is no longer available. She was then prescribed a form of Theophylline made by a compounding pharmacy. It is an immediate release medication. My yorkie did not tolerate it well at all and we stopped the drug. We are considering Aminophylline as a replacement. It is also an immediate release drug but we hope our little girl will tolerate it better.
Has anyone else's doggy had a bad reaction to the compounded Theophylline?
