When you get one that fits him well, MAKE him have it put on, even if he struggles. Then, once it's on, and especially if it's cold out, he'll like it. Higgins HATED to have his camping sweatshirt put on, but then he learned that it kept him warm and now he tolerates having it put on. Same with the sweater I just knitted him. HATED having it put on, but loves it once it is on and he's warming up. Now, I don't think Higgins really cares about clothes very much, so we only put him in things to keep him warm when necessary.
Hang in there.....keep trying......but get ones that fit well. |
