Yep - it's a huge decision - I totally agree! Dogs are a lot of work and the commitment is for life.
If you really do want her, you'd want to start over w/ potty training it appears - which isn't impossible at all - just takes total dedication and agreement of all family members. Yorkies can be notoriously tough to train.
