Has anyone had this happen? He is also blind but has such a will to live. My vet knows how much he is loved and says as long as he eats and drinks he can survive. There has been some bleeding but it stops. Surgery is not option as my vet days he has too much bone loss from not having any teeth. I rescued Chester 14 years ago. |
OK I not understanding on 9-12-2016 you posted this below, did you decide to not to let him go?? If so, prayers going out to your baby.

Default Good bye my Chester
I'm saying good night to my little Chester for the last time. Chester is 16 years 7 months young, blind and can't hear very well. Last night he fell down our stairs and broke his jaw. The vet gave him morphine and gave me the chance to say good bye. I'm so sad but know it's best. He's not in pain but will never be able to eat or drink again. I still feel like maybe there's something I didn't do or maybe he'll be OK in my heart but know I have to be strong for him and not sorry for myself. I need strength but all I can do is cry for him.
