Poor guy. Definitely time to see the vet. Luxating patella (knee problem) and Legg-Calve-Perthes (hip problem) are common to Yorkies and can cause them to hold up a leg. The LP is very common.
Another possibility is Lyme Disease.
Could be an injury that you cannot detect a flinching pain with physical exam.
