She couldn't run if she wanted to. She did jump off the sofa which I didn't think she would. She won't even try to jump up, I guess she knows she can't. She can barely walk more than 5 steps. She starts off and if her foot is turned under she starts to fall. Apparently her brain and her foot aren't communicating.

The dilemma now is that I have to let the Rimadyl try to work....because she has to be off it for 3 days I think before she takes a steroid. It can cause serious gastro issues i they are both in her system.

I think she is able to move her right leg, just not well. They said if she can't walk to bring her to ER. I'm struggling to wait until Tuesday or the neuro appt, but she's only been on Rimadyl since Tu night and a muscle relaxer, methocarbomal, was added yesterday.

She just wants to be with us. I'm considering one of those 6 sided baby gates for when I go out for a few hours. She has a crate but hasnt used it since the spring. She has one of those heavenly beds from the yorkie rescue i it. I think I need to get an orthopedic mattress.

Someone suggested chiro, but I believe you should not do chiro for a true herniated disc., or risk more damage.
