A crate in the bedroom is a good idea. I'm plus sized so I don't feel comfortable putting my yorkies in my bed because I'm scared of rolling over on them and such. There really is no such thing as a teacup, the standard is not to exceed 7 pounds so from 0 to 7npounds it's just a standard yorkie.
